GP Workforce Statistics – 2001-02 to 2016-17

The statistics are presented by State and Territory, Remoteness Area Classification, General Practitioner’s (GP’s) gender, GP’s age group, GP’s type, and place where GP’s basic qualification was obtained, for financial year 2000-01 and onwards.

Figures will differ from those published prior to 2014-15 as a result of methodology changes.
